RE: Heartfelt Gratitude for Recognizing CPPC

Dear Members and Board of Directors of the Hari Sharma Foundation,

On behalf of the Committee of Progressive Pakistani Canadians (CPPC), we are writing to express our deepest gratitude for the honour you have bestowed upon our organization. To be recognized by the Dr. Hari Sharma Foundation—a fraternal organization whose commitment to social justice, community education and empowerment we have long admired—is a profoundly meaningful moment for us.

For over forty years, the CPPC has worked tirelessly to raise progressive political, social, and class awareness among South Asian Canadians and particularly within Canadians of Pakistani origin. This work has always been rooted in the belief that solidarity, critical thought, and collective action are essential to building a just society. To have these decades of effort acknowledged by an organization that shares our values and vision is both humbling and deeply affirming.

It is a great honour to be recognized by colleagues and comrades. We stand in solidarity with you as you celebrate the vital work of the Foundation and the community you so faithfully serve.

We look forward to continuing our shared journey of building progressive movements across this country. Please accept our warmest congratulations on your own ongoing achievements, and our sincerest thanks once again for this generous recognition.

In solidarity.

Committee of Progressive Pakistani Canadians Executive
